Just for information, we have moved to Playa Bonita RV Park, site C21.

We had another first yesterday in Puerto Penasco...

Earlier in the week we a a visit from Esperanza, Chay, Leonada, who live out in the barrios, and Darlene, her daughter Debbie..

They had made the trip to our motorhome to invite us out to Esperanza's house on Friday at 4:00 pm. Of course it was a surprise party that we were not supposed to know about...ha

We got there a few minutes before 4pm and were directed to set in the living room..When everyone had arrived and all the arrangments were taken care of they told us to come outside into the back yard.

.. There, hanging on  rope stretched between the house and a shed was a pinata full of candy.
It was our pinata and our very first one...It was made to look like a clown and they said it's name was "Alan"....I took that as a compliment , but now as I write this I wonder..ha

We had a good time beating "Alan" to a pulp and  getting the candy knocked out of him.

Afterwards we went back inside where we had pizza and salad waiting. Then it was time for the cake....As is the Mexican custom I was asked to lower my face close to the cake and take a bite.

I knew what was coming next, but believe me it is totally unavoidable. I am getting quite a collection of pictures with cake all over my face..I have added some pictures below as well as on the "Mexico Photos" link.
